Fall Orientation is your official welcome to Sonoma State!
Designed for all new students starting in the fall semester, Noma Nation Orientation is a required program that helps you get connected, informed, and ready for your SSU journey. - Log into your MySSU account.
- Select the “Applicant Self-Service” tile.
- Select the Noma Nation Orientation option from the menu on the left-hand side and follow the steps to complete your reservation.
- You will select your orientation date based on your academic plan.
- You need to know your SSU username and password, as well as set up your Multi-Factor Authentication using your mobile device. Click here for more information and instructions.
- If you need any technical assistance with your SSU username and password and/ or with setting up your Multi-Factor Authentication, please contact the SSU IT Help Desk at (707) 664-4357.
- Review the online Student Toolkit as a component of your Orientation. This will help you get an idea of the courses you'll take in your first semester and introduce you to HOW to register for classes. Completing this will set you up for success.

- Check-In: Starts at 9:30 am. We’ll have some tasty breakfast refreshments waiting for you.
- Informative presentations from Seawolf Services, Financial Aid and Campus Housing/ Culinary Services.
- Campus Tour: Enjoy a guided walk around campus, highlighting all the amazing services and resources that will help support you during your academic career at SSU.
- Lunch: Connect with your future classmates over a delicious meal.
- Advising & Registration: Receive group and personalized advising alongside other new students in your major and start building your Fall ‘25 class schedule.
