Starting in Spring
What to Expect During Orientation
Noma Nation Orientation is your introduction to life as a Seawolf! During this in-person experience, you'll:
- Discover campus resources and services that support your success
- Learn about general education and major requirements
- Register for your first-semester courses with guidance from SSU faculty and staff
- Explore campus and get familiar with your new surroundings
- Meet fellow incoming students, faculty, and staff
Noma Nation Orientation is required for all incoming undergraduate students (Freshmen and Transfers) before their first semester. Freshmen admitted to EOP participate in Summer Bridge instead; Transfers admitted to EOP are still required to attend.
How to Reserve Your Spot at Orientation
Reserving your spot at Orientation is easy! Once you've accepted your offer of admission and paid your Enrollment Reservation Deposit, we'll send an invitation to the email address you used to apply through Cal State Apply.
Your invitation will include a personalized registration link that's unique to you (please don't share!). Since it's connected to your application, much of your information will already be filled in, making registration quick and easy.
Simply click your link, follow the prompts, and reserve your spot for the Orientation date assigned to your major. That's it! You're one step closer to becoming a Seawolf!
