Mind Games with Master Hypnotist Paul Ramsey | 8 PM | Ballroom A
TRULY INTERACTIVE STAGE HYPNOTISM, "Mind Games" innovates while others imitate! The days of clucking like a chicken are over. Hypnotist Paul Ramsey's "Mind Games" show breaks the mold of stage hypnotism. Using interactive polling software and remote controls, audience members steer the course of the show by voting on what they want to see happen on stage. Paul Ramsey makes the audience the stars of the show. Everyone participates! Volunteers are hypnotized while still sitting in the audience, providing an up-close-and-personal experience for all those in attendance. "Mind Games" approaches stage hypnotism from a whole new angle. It's interactive, original entertainment that transforms average studetns into a cast of characters before your very eyes. You'll talk about what you see long after the show is over. Get there early for a good seat! For more information, contact mo.phillips@sonoma.edu

The Goonies Movie Experince | 6 PM doors open / 6:30 PM Film Starts | Student Center Ballroom
PT Barnum said "The noblest art is that of making others happy." Well, here at SSU and in Student Involvment, we aim to create events and experinces that do just that. To make way for a new golf course, the entire community of the peaceful coastal town faces imminent foreclosure. But the game isn't over until the fat lady sings. When a band of local childhood friends calling themselves the Goonies stumble upon an old map, containing secret clues leading them to a fabled treasure of the notorious pirate One-Eyed Willy; thus setting into motion a wild mission to save their community. This movie is a great throwback for older siblings or a new treat for the younger ones.
