What is Required BEFORE Orientation/Registration

Orientation Students must pay and reserve their spot for their attendance at Orientation before they can attend and register for classes. The cost to sign up for Orientation is included in the ERD package of $235 ($200 ERD + $35 Orientation fee). This fee includes your parking, supplies, and staffing for the event.

**Please register for an orientation session by logging onto your "MYSSU" Portal and accessing the orientation reservation menu by selecting "Main Menu" then "Self Service" then “Admissions” at the top left of your Student Center Page.

Final Transcripts

Because of the large number of incoming transfer students, the admissions team may not have time to process everyone’s transfer credit report. We request that you please bring a copy of all your unofficial transcripts. These let the admissions team put together your complete academic picture in a concise summary for your adviser. This will make academic advisement and registration a smoother process for all.

Send Immunization Records

Immunization records are not required to attend Orientation but are required 6 weeks before your starting semester.

In accordance with CSU Policy & State law, prior to starting classes at SSU, entering students are required to provide copies of official records showing that they have received the following immunizations to the SSU Office of Admissions & Records, 1801 E. Cotati Ave. Rohnert Park CA 94928. These records are due at least 6-8 weeks before the start of their the student's first semester at SSU.
